Choose Your Own Misadventure!!!

August 20, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Do you remember those R.L. Stein or alike books in which you could choose your own adventure?

Of course you do!!

Well this is the same except it is a misadventure in a wiki format. Shows how inovatively Wikipedia can be used. Haven’t yet began it but it seems like it will be quite fun

New ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Photographs

August 9, 2008 · 1 Comment

Just a short little post regarding the new Star Wars movie.

New Pics have been released on the internets.

‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’

But what I really want is to know what everyone thinks about it.

Will it flop like episode I or will it reinstate our love for the series and remind us why we all loved the original series (and arguably episode III)?

Please respond in the Comments :)

Superhero Movie

August 5, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Just watched a superhero movie which is much different than one would expect. It’s a documentary about people who move to Hollywood hoping to make it big as an actor or actress. Before they make it big (if they ever do) they work on Hollywood boulevard dressed up as superheroes posing with people for tips, as it is illegal for them to request payment.

Its a very cool documentary which opens a window into the lives of Superman, Batman, Wonderwoman, and The Incredible Hulk. Definitely worth a look :)

Musicians play in the backs of cabs

August 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I think this may be a bit of an internet oldie, But Black Cab Sessions is worth another or maybe a first look. Artists play some of their hit songs or just freestyle it in the back of cabs in the U.K., so far there are 50 sessions and growing. The latest was one by the Cool Kids a somewhat indie hip-hop group that’s pretty up and coming which you may recognize from some of the rhapsody commercials. Cold War Kids, Spoon, and The Kooks to name some of my favourite artists which have recorded in the back of cabs. Oh did i mention that these are music videos? probably pretty important to mention. :)

New “Gorillaz” Album

August 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I am a pretty big fan of the Gorillaz and am very stoked that there is a new album about to be release. Has been a long time since Demon Days (and yes I am very aware that there were both G sides and D sides, but frankly they just don’t count) and am really happy they the crew has came up with a new one.

You may be wondering the reason for the quotes around Gorillaz in the title. Well it isn’t technically a Gorillaz album, it’s from the creators of the Gorillaz and I am assuming that it’s essentially the same thing with a new name and hopefully some new style. Not that Gorillaz isn’t pure greatness but something new is always good. Anyways the new album is called Monkey: Journey to the West and is apparently based on the opera which premiered at Manchester International Festival in 2007 and which will open at Royal Opera House in London on Wednesday, July 23rd. With lyrics based on ancient Chinese texts and performed in Mandarin, the album has been recorded in London and Beijing over the last twelve months.

Sounds very cool and am excited for it when it drops on the August 18th

If Walls Could Speak

August 3, 2008 · Leave a Comment

A set of photos which provokes the thought of what exactly goes down in hotel rooms the past nights. From mafia torture to the set of a porno. Kinda makes me want to stay with friends from now on instead of sleeping in a hotel room in which only Jesus knows what has happened it in.
